General Investigations Unit

The General Investigations Unit is responsible for investigating crimes that occur within our jurisdiction with the exception of sexual battery and homicides, which are handled by Miami-Dade County Police Department. The General Investigations Unit, also works in closely with a multitude of local, state and federal agencies.

The Medley Police Department's General Investigations Unit is overseen by Lieutenant German Gutierrez.
