Crime Prevention

Crime Prevention is an essential part in crime deterrence. Periodically, the Medley residents and the Medley Police Department come together to discuss current events, and share pertinent information in preventing crime. During these meetings, many topics are discussed such as crime prevention techniques that can be practiced at home or in public. The Medley Police Department have certified Crime Prevention Practitioners and Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design Practitioners who attend these meetings. These meetings are held periodically at local community centers. Medley residents are encouraged to attend and share any concerns they may have at the time.
