Medley Police Records

The Police Department Report Records are located in the Communication Section. Current and one year back reports are available 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Older reports must be obtained Monday thru Friday 8:00AM to 4:00PM. Telephone 305-883-2047.

How many days does it take for a report to be received in Records ?
It takes approximately three to five working days. It is recommended that you call and verify that the report is available.

What information do I need to pick up an incident report?
The case number, date of incident will assist Our reports are computerized and may be searched for by other information.

What do I need to bring to pick up a Traffic Crash report?
Traffic Crash reports are no longer public record until after sixty days from the date of the accident. Prior to the sixty days the report may only be picked-up by the driver or owner of the vehicle involved and must show a photo identification card.

How to request a report by mail?
Include a written request, self-addressed stamped envelope, and the fee, if applicable (see below)

Audio Tape Duplication: Estimated from $5.00 to $15.00 (blank tapes must be provided)
